Former Bellator MMA fighter, Dillon Danis, thinks something is off about his fight against KSI. ‘El Jefe’ thinks his opponent’s camp wants to play dirty to win this prestigious match-up. Since Danis is a newbie around the boxing ring, KSI and his team can twist the rules in their favor. Apparently, Danis received some strange instructions ahead of the fight, regarding his weight. But these instructions sound confusing and outright unfair to Danis. He also felt KSI wanted to avoid the fight.

However, he has a backup plan in his mind and won’t let the chance to a bout slip by.

‘El Jefe’ revealed he’s being handicapped to give an unfair advantage to his opponent, ahead of his fight against KSI. Danis is ready to fight YouTuber and boxer, KSI at MF & DAZN: X Series 004 at the OVO Arena, Wembley in London on Jan. 14, 2023. However, KSI might not be as ready to take on MMA fighter, Dillon Danis.

He has never faced a proper mixed martial artist in his career. But, since they meet in a boxing ring, fans believe it’s the British Youtuber who holds the advantage. However, Danis’ recent statement on Chael Sonnen’s interview revealed his true feelings.

Danis said, “I feel like they’re just trying to handicap me.”

So the fights at 177. … They want me to be four pounds heavier the day of the fight by 4 p.m.”

He added, “So the fights at 7 or 8 p.m and they want me to weigh in at 4 p.m the day of the fight, only four pounds heavier or five pounds, something stupid.”

The 29-ear-old felt, there were ‘fishy’ things going on around the fight.

The BJJ instructor received vocal support from his Irish friend, Conor McGregor, ahead of this highly anticipated match-up. But maybe they’ll call it off for this silly reason.

El Jefe feels the fight won’t happen

According to Dillon Danis, KSI is afraid to step into the ring. Therefore, he’s trying his best to force Danis away from the fight. But, his main problem is the heavy penalty if he fails to meet the weight cut on the day of the fight.

Danis said, “It’s a lot of money to beat up a guy that doesn’t know how to fight, but I feel like this fight won’t happen.”
