Dana White is not leaving the UFC anytime soon

White has contributed a lot to the sport. His efforts revolutionized MMA and brought it to the forefront.

Recently, Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, spoke about White claiming he was “the only essential person in all American sports.

Dana White has had good relations with Donald Trump. A reporter asked him about this comment and his plans for the future. White believes he has built a business that will last for a ling time.

He added, “The UFC will be very different when I’m gone.” “It won’t go away”.

Dana White continues in his role as president of the UFC for now. He currently has no plans to end his reign abruptly. However, there was a time when he was quite unsure about his tenure.

White chose a healthier lifestyle

Dana White heard the news that he may not have a long life ahead. This news gave him a severe reality check on his health. He shared a conversation he had regarding his health on a podcast.

His friend, a “human biologist & mortality expert” Gary Brecka, took his blood samples and got the results, which were interpreted. He said according to the results, The UFC boss had “10.4 years to live” if he didn’t change his lifestyle. (H/T  Bloody Elbow)

Since then, White has stuck to a ketogenic diet and followed the procedures advised by Gary Brecka. He immediately noticed his health improving since then.

He revealed, “This is what Gary Brecka told me… there are essential fats that your body needs or you’ll die, there are essential amino acids… there is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate… I’ve never felt better… I feel like I’m 35-years-old again [after following Brecka’s diet].”
