‘BearJew’ and ‘Sergipano’ squared off against each other in a bout that sent ripples through the 185 lbs division. The crowd favorite, Craig, had already got an impressive record with earlier victories over Jamahal Hill and Shogun Rua. However,  those victories had come in the light heavyweight category, but he was making his middleweight debut here. The fans, fighters, and pundits alike speculated how his new venture in middleweight would affect the division.

Craig committed a body lock in the second round and took down Muniz. But the 23-5 record holder caught him in a lock, as Craig figured a way out and gladly accepted to be in a position where his back was on the mat. However, the 16-6-1 record holder soon regretted it as Muniz head-butted him, and the referee had to interfere and separate the two. Following this, Craig again caught Muniz in a body lock and almost caught him in a lock on the mat. A beatdown followed as Craig landed huge and sharp elbows on Muniz. The 33-year-old appeared helpless, and the referee separated the two by calling off the fight as Muniz faced the complete brunt of Craig’s sharp elbows.
