“Gillian Robertson tapping out Rose Namajunas in just 65 seconds, obviously, a massive win for Gillian Robertson there, but you know only a grappling event but when I saw that the real talking point was I mean listen you know Robertson is a very good Grappler, but that there makes me understand why she(Namajunas) was so timid. Namajunas played it so safe in that fight against Carla Esparza.” expressed Bisping.
The former Middleweight champ clearly feels Rose played it safe against Carla owing to the possible skill gap in wrestling between the two. The fact that Carla submitted Rose the first time they met was also a big factor according to Bisping.
“I do think when I watched that I was like because Esparza had tapped her out the first time I believe when they fought, didn’t tap her the second time but you see you can see it was there it was messing with her mentally do you know what I mean uh it’s always at the back of the mind, “ said the 43-year-old.

“For Rose to be fair is very humble of her to do so because as you say it’s not her strong point you know and more than likely going to forget someone that is known for jujitsu, you’re going to lose but what happens, you develop you get better you know what I mean” expressed Michael.

Rose’s performance against Esparza was clearly underwhelming and not surprisingly the fight was even branded the worst title fight in UFC history.
