After Conor McGregor Lands in Hollywood With Jake Gyllenhaal, Sister Erin McGregor Bags Lead Role in Irish Drama

The ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor has always been the biggest superstar and poster boy of the UFC for as long as he was active. He has always brought in crazy PPV numbers for his fights. What is clearly evident is that he sells. This leads to a very promising way for his Hollywood career, and it looks like he is headed there.

The former UFC two-division champion is partnering with Jake Gyllenhaal for the upcoming project Road House. By the looks of it, his sister Erin McGregor is also following in his footsteps.

Erin McGregor, like ‘Mystic Mac’, has made herself known by building a great physique for a couple of years. She rose to fame with her after reaching the semi-finals of ‘Dancing with the Stars – Season 2’. Since then; she rose to fame and acquired a whopping 178,000 followers on Instagram.

She, alongside her sister Aoife McGregor, leaves no chances to flaunt their luxurious lifestyle on their social media handles, mainly Snapchat and Instagram. Fans know Erin as famous and well-known for her background in Irish Showbiz and to appear in the Irish Panto.

She is starring in the new Olly Polly and the Beanstalk alongside Michaela O’Neill. It will run from 21st Dec – 08th Jan. Conor McGregor seemed excited and thrilled about it as he rushed to share this news on Instagram stories.

Conor McGregor isn’t the only UFC fighter to feature in Hollywood

UFC, as an organization, has a massive outreach to fans and spectators across the globe. This has led to some of the fighters being household names. This is extremely helpful when these superstars feature in movies. They bring their own fanbase and audience to the theatre, increasing thereby the revenue of the project.

Now he is embarking on a new journey to work on a Hollywood project in a much-anticipated remake of ‘Road House’. He stars alongside famed crew Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, and Billy Magnussen, to name a few.
