The reigning middleweight champion was having a normal time at his house when he saw a man enter his property. At first, Sean Strickland believed that the unknown individual was trying to steal his car. However, that was not the case. Strickland later shared a tweet, claiming that the trespasser had physically assaulted a girl and then tried to flee from security.

The man, who was drunk, destroyed the tires of his car, rendering it undrivable. Thereafter, he decided to hide at the UFC champion’s house. Strickland quickly got hold of him and held him at gunpoint until the police arrived to arrest him.

“Naa man… the guy was beating up a girl and fled drunk from security, wrecked his car, drove on the rim till it couldn’t drive and took off on foot hiding at my house. Had to turn himself into police in the morning,” said Sean Strickland. Fortunately, the middleweight champion was unharmed in that encounter. But this is not the first time that a UFC champion has foiled a suspect’s plans. A similar situation happened with Jon Jones as well.

Jon Jones once chased a robber with a shotgun

‘Bones’ is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous people on earth. It would be unwise for an ordinary person to step up to him for a fight. However, an alleged robber in 2020 took things to a whole new level when he broke into the heavyweight champion’s house in Albuquerque, New Mexico. But Jon Jones had other plans for him.

After the incident transpired, Jon Jones shared a CCTV footage of himself, chasing down the alleged robber with a shotgun in his hand. He later revealed that the unknown individual broke into his house, presumably to steal his vehicles. Jones later warned the robber to never come back to his house ever again.

Such incidents often end up with some severe or even fatal consequences. However, neither Sean Strickland nor Jon Jones were hurt in their respective encounters. Moreover, these incidents occur not just with celebrities or athletes, but with normal people as well.
