The welterweight champion hasn’t mellowed his stance and has yet to accept the ‘Chaos’ as next in line. He still casts doubts about whether the American fighter is the deserving candidate for having a crack at his title.

He recently told ESPN, “He [Colby Covington] hasn’t fought for over 2 years. He’s coming off 1 win against [Jorge] Masvidal. So I don’t think he’s the deserving guy for the belt”.
