Joe Rogan is undoubtedly one of the most noted figures in the UFC. The UFC’s color commentator is on an over-a-decade tenure with the UFC. Rogan shares the commentary table with mostly ‘Jon Anik’ and the noted former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier. But, rumors have been heard that ‘DC’ doesn’t like Rogan.

The famed media personality, Ariel Helwani, went on to ask ‘DC’ about the same while he recently visited an episode of his show.

The duo started off a discussion about Cormier’s commentary experience after his run as a fighter. ‘DC’ complimented Jon Anik as a phenomenal commentator. Cormier stated, “The way he puts together his words, dude is made to be a broadcaster.” He also stated, “I love working with these guys.”

This brought in the question from Helwani about the rumored, bitter relationship between ‘DC’ and Rogan. Helwani asked, “Why don’t you like working with Rogan. What’s the issue?”

But Cormier went on to clear the clouds of myth about his and Rogan’s bitter relationship.

He stated, “I love Rogan. Are you kidding me? That’s my guy.” The ‘two-time Pan American wrestling champion’ explained that the bitter relationship between him and Rogan was just a rumor.

Cormier also explained that there was no reason for him to hate Rogan. He iterated, “We had so much fun together. … Like you could tell it’s the best.” It was evident from Cormier’s words that even he was really surprised to hear such ambiguous rumors flying around about him and Rogan.

He also went on to state, “You could tell that we’re having fun and I guess some people don’t like fun.” A lot of MMA fans would actually agree with the fact that ‘DC’ doesn’t hate the famous color commentator.

Fans often saw the duo having friendly moments while commentating. Their commentary complements each other pretty well. This, in turn, presents the fan with a more wholesome experience of watching the UFC events.

Further, no stories of a scuffle between the two have ever surfaced. So, as per Cormier’s explanation, his bitter relationship talks with Rogan are nothing but a myth.
