UFC sure keeps its fans hooked with inside-the-ring rivalries and outside-the-ring feuds. UFC might have a long list of coveted rivalries between the fighters, but its attached personalities are not completely far off. One former UFC fighter believes that the chaos before UFC 279 was an engineered attempt and as a result, went back and forth with UFC president Dana White.

Following Dana White, the UFC commentator Joe Rogan joined hands and blasted the former fighter. In his podcast, he claimed that he was wrong about his assumption and that he needed a “handler“.

It was only a matter of time that the former UFC fighter Brandon Schaub would hit back at the UFC duo. Besides the duo, he took a dig at the Metaverse lynchpin Mark Zuckerberg too.

Brandon Schaub’s dig on Dana White and Joe Rogan

Brandon Schaub, on the latest episode of his podcast ‘The Schaub Show’, took a dig at both Dana White and Joe Rogan. He responded to Joe Rogan’s handler comment and said, “Do I? Or does your boy [Dana White] need a handler? I’m not the one playing grab a*s with Mark Zuckerberg, letting him rent out thicc boy studio [referring to UFC Apex Arena] shutting it down for his own entertainment. You should have ran that by me, right?”

He concluded with his statement that “I don’t need a handler. These guys need a handler.”

The fighter-turned-standup comedian talked at length about the repercussions of renting out the entire arena and making it exclusive for one person. He further claimed that it affected the fighters and that Zuckerberg shouldn’t have been given special treatment.

The UFC president Dana White intrigued the MMA fans when he declared that the audience and media both were banned from attending the UFC Vegas 61. Many fans speculated about many plausible reasons and formed their hypothesis because of this bizarre announcement.

The air soon cleared, and fans got to know the real reason during the broadcast of the event. UFC Fight Night: Dern vs Yan turned out to be an exclusive event for billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and his wife.

The event might have the MMA fans concerned about whether this is the start of a new trend where the fans themselves are excluded.

How did the feud start?

While Nate Diaz‘s farewell match at UFC  279 was a crowd puller and gained significant PPV numbers, Schaub was skeptical of the chaos that happened before the event. During the weigh-ins, 3 fighters missed the weight and fans got a reshuffled fight card.

‘Big Brown’ claimed that it was intentional on part of the organization as the fight card was not selling well. The UFC president in the post-event conference hit back at Schaub while mistaking him for Pat Miletich.

Dana White clarified that they sold the event out even before the weigh-ins. He further added, “I don’t know if Pat really said that but if he did, he has to be the dumbest motherf***er on the planet.”

Rogan said, “But first of all, he’s [Brendon Schaub] wrong. He’s wrong about the theory. He needs a handler. He needs someone like me around him all the time.”
