BREAKING: UFC Releases Impa Kasanganay Months After Loss Against Carlston Harris

MMA is surely a very entertaining sport. However, the promotions can be very ruthless sometimes. According to MMA fighting, Impa Kasanganay has been released by the UFC just months after his second fight loss.

The American fighter fought a few different promotions before he landed up at Dana White’s Contender Series. After that, he started his career at the UFC in August 2020 and has fought a total of 4 UFC fights. He has a 2-2 UFC record. His last fight was against Carlston Harris where Kasanganay suffered a TKO.

The news of Kasanganay’s exit from UFC comes as a surprise to fans. Considering that he has lost only two UFC fights from four, it has shocked everyone. There are several fighters who have had several more losses in a row. Hence, Kasanganay’s quick-release raises many questions.

However, it is best to wait for the UFC or Kasanganay to comment on this. Either of their comments would clear the reason behind this happening. It could be possible that his exit had absolutely nothing to do with his record or recent performances.

Many think that this could be a huge setback in Kasanganay’s career and it possibly is. He has an MMA record of 9-2-0 and his only two losses were at UFC. Before that, he was on an 8-fight winning streak. Hence, there is no doubt that he is a great fighter and is perhaps experiencing a little rough patch in his career.

What’s next for Impa Kasanganay?

Kasanganay is a young fighter with a good record. There might be several organizations interested in signing him up.

Further, he has the spirit of a true fighter. After his loss against Carlston Harris, Kasanganay shared a poem on Instagram. He wrote the following lines in the caption of his post.

“I’ve had some good days I’ve had some hills to climb I’ve had some weary days, And some sleepless nights, But when I, when I look around, And I think things over, All of my good days, Outweigh my bad days, I, I won’t complain”

Kasanganay also congratulated his opponent on winning. He took the responsibility for his performance and vowed to make adjustments. He truly has the courage and spirit of a fighter.
