The reason behind the distance he keeps from betting is very religious. Islam followers are prohibited from involving in any gambling. Gambling of any kind is forbidden.

In a recent Twitter post, Khabib Nurmagomedov shared an opportunity with his fans to meet him and join a closed crypto community that works with NFTs. The collaboration didn’t make fans happy. Fans wanted the former lightweight fighter to stay away from the Crypto world and called the business ‘haram‘ comparing it to gambling.
