Conor McGregor isn’t letting go of his fellow Irishmen for fiddling with his nationality. McGregor had earlier trained his guns at former Manchester United soccer player Paul McGrath and Irish comedian PJ Gallagher. The feud erupted after an American TV presenter, Laura Sanko, called ‘McG’ British, and Gallagher, being Irish himself, had no problems with it. Since then, there has been a back-and-forth exchange of insulting tweets that haven’t stopped yet. ‘Mystic Mac’ had asked Gallagher and McGrath for a boxing match.

In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote, “I challenge Pj and Paul McGrath to 2 vs 1 boxing match in aid of mental health and anti bullying organizations.”

McGregor found support from his fans too. As a fan called Gallagher out for taking digs at McGregor, ‘The Notorious’ cleared his opinion further. He made sarcastic comments on how Gallagher could insult him only because of his health situation.

While Conor McGregor looked in no mood to spare Gallagher. He put it out in the public domain that he didn’t appreciate someone taking digs at him, hiding behind the garb of having mental health issues.

McGregor’s deleted tweet read, “It was more than a little insult to me. It also wasn’t the first time he’s taken shots at me. Just the first time I responded. But I suppose he has mental health issues so I guess he has a free pass to insult me publicly.”

Laura Sanko’s Conor McGregor slip

American TV presenter Laura Sanko has given birth to a controversy that is just refusing to die. In her show on ESPN, Sanko included McGregor in a list of the top 5 active British fighters. This sparked a fuse and Irish sentiments were hurt. While Laura Sanko had to come up with a half-baked explanation later, Gallagher is getting into deeper waters as he himself is Irish.
