Conor McGregor isn’t letting go of his fellow Irishmen for fiddling with his nationality. McGregor had earlier trained his guns at former Manchester United soccer player Paul McGrath and Irish comedian PJ Gallagher. The feud erupted after an American TV presenter, Laura Sanko, called ‘McG’ British, and Gallagher, being Irish himself, had no problems with it. Since then, there has been a back-and-forth exchange of insulting tweets that haven’t stopped yet. ‘Mystic Mac’ had asked Gallagher and McGrath for a boxing match.
In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote, “I challenge Pj and Paul McGrath to 2 vs 1 boxing match in aid of mental health and anti bullying organizations.”
McGregor found support from his fans too. As a fan called Gallagher out for taking digs at McGregor, ‘The Notorious’ cleared his opinion further. He made sarcastic comments on how Gallagher could insult him only because of his health situation.

Conor McGregor wears his nationality with pride. To be called a Brit is no less than an insult to him. The fire will take some time before it dies, but a mistake of this magnitude is causing a lot of back-and-forth online. What’s your take on this controversy? Let us know.
