Conor McGregor Blocks Irish Soccer Coach After “Leach” Comment Goes Viral

Conor McGregor is one of the MMA’s most famous yet controversial personalities. The UFC legend has some of the most die-hard fans as well as a set of haters. Such splitting audiences is what has made Conor McGregor one of the most talked about athletes in combat sports history. Moreover, unlike his name, ‘The Notorious’ believes in giving back to his people and the community. His endeavors, however, seem to be met with some trolls, which have caused some trouble for the ‘Mystic Mac’.

Nevertheless, McGregor is trying to send them away with just the push of a button.

Conor McGregor blocks Irish soccer coach on social media

‘The Notorious’ has seemingly had enough of the social media trollers. The former UFC double champion has now been removing some of them on Twitter. McGregor posted a tweet for Katie Taylor ahead of her rematch against Amanda Serrano.

Conor McGregor offered to pay the security costs for Taylor. The UFC fighter also tweeted about the fighter, “Monday tomorrow! Let’s keep us posted on Katie Taylor for Croke Park on May 20.”

The soccer coach, David Ennis said in the tweet, “Leave her alone you leach”. It looked like McGregor had enough of the Irish goalkeeping coach and blocked him on Twitter.

However, Ennis seemed rather delighted as he joyfully tweeted about a ‘win’. The women’s soccer coach tweeted, “WHAT. A. FU**ING. WIN.” The Irish coach also posted a photo of the former double champion blocking him via his account.

‘The Notorious’ stands with Taylor for the rematch. Her bout against women’s featherweight champion Amanda Serrano has been scheduled for May.

However, the high cost of Croke Park is causing an issue for the game to go ahead. Moreover, McGregor has stepped in for promoter Eddie Hearn’s aid.

Hearn also said that he had a meeting with ‘Mystic Mac’. Furthermore, the promoter revealed, “We talked about the numbers, cost, [and] time-frame…I do think it’s realistic for us that 20 May will be in the 3Arena.”
