Conor McGregor is a confident man against any and all opponents. ‘The Notorious’ never backs from any fight and has a habit of picking them on social media. He resented the latest comment issued by his rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and took to Twitter to address ‘The Eagle’. Apparently, McGregor was vying for a rematch after he took a loss on their first outing. But, Nurmagomedov rejected the offer and chose to retire.

For this reason, The Irishman insinuated that Nurmagomedov’s father would slap him if he were alive.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s statement offended Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is an audacious personality. Through his Twitter account, the Irishman started a feud with his Dagestani rival. He claimed that Late Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov will slap his son as he declined his offer for a rematch.

The Russian recently stated “I hear long time ago when one guy was talking about, ‘We’re here to take over.’ But we here to take over.” at a press conference. Repeating Mr.Whiskey’s famous quote “We’re here to take over”. This jibe triggered McGregor, who responded on his favorite social media platform, Twitter.

The former double-division champion wrote “I fight on! Your fathers plan is never complete because you quit and ran, brother.” Taking a dig at Khabib Nurmagomedov and his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who wanted to see his son conquer MMA.

Nurmagomedov remains undefeated despite facing ‘The Notorious’, but apparently, Conor McGregor offered him a rematch, to prove his worth. “God bless. I’m still here if you want to go again. But your fear of defeat means you’ve already lost.” The Irishman stated in a deleted tweet.

He immediately changed his mind and rescinded the initial offer. “Actually you know what I don’t want to fight the smellbag. There are way better fights out there, but let it be known that he is the biggest wet the bed in fighting history is what this guy is.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov did not impress Conor McGregor by turning down his offer for a rematch. He also wrote “Father gonna slap you 100 per cent.” for his decision to not fight again. ‘The Eagle’ retired as an undefeated lightweight champion. And, The Irishman believed he still has more to achieve but, is scared to enter the octagon and taint his perfect record.
