Conor McGregor, as yet, has made no official announcement of returning to the Octagon. But many fans want to see him return to the fighting game after he suffered a leg injury against Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 main event. Meanwhile, The Irishman kept himself busy by watching some of the other fantastic professional MMA fighters on the UFC roster. Including the title fight between former and current middleweight champions Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira at UFC 281. As we all know, ‘Poatan’ defeated his kickboxing rival, but McGregor thinks if the circumstances were a little different, he wouldn’t bet against Adesanya.

Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira: One of the most exciting rivalries

McGregor hailed theirs to be among the most exciting rivalries of UFC. That part is very true, as their middleweight championship title fight shocked most of the fans. Because they had never seen such an intense match where either one of them could’ve come out on top.

But Pereira capitalized on his chance towards the end and dominated his opponent. However, The Irishman went on to claim that Adesanya would’ve defended his title if there was no time limit. Sure, if a cow had wings, it would be a bird.

However, ‘Mystic Mac’ also respected Pereira and dubbed him a “Solid Fighter” in his tweet. But, he announced his loyalty towards the New Zealander.
