One such name is Hunter Campbell who is like White’s right hand.

Campbell is officially the legal head of the promotion, but he now seems to be in a role that is more than just a legal advisor. He even discusses fight plans with the big names and according to Michael Chandler, he was in a USADA discussion as well.

Even though Dana White runs the show, he does need his team to help him with huge sold-out fights and promotions. Behind the scenes, it’s all Campbell with his role as Chief Business Officer at UFC. The alumnus of Washington University is even being speculated to take up Dana White’s role now.

The fans started to speculate after watching a video on X where Campbell decided to reprimand Merab Dvalishvili as he snatched Sean O’Malley’s jacket. However, Campbell could not help but laugh at Dvalishvili’s antics at UFC 288.

UFC buffs favor Hunter Campbell over Dana White

On top of this, fans recently witnessed a video from a UFC documentary where Campbell and White were talking to Jon Jones and letting him know about his pectoral injury. Campbell was describing to Jones what happened, while Dana was just supporting the fighter silently.

These actions might also have tipped the scale in the CBO’s favor.
