The world of UFC is abuzz with many rumored fight cards and already-established fights coming up. In all this potpourri of news, Daniel Cormier has come up with another possible matchup. He believes that we might be edging closer to Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall and it might come sooner than we expected. Interim heavyweight champion Aspinall has always wanted to fight the undisputed champion for the unification of the title but was not getting any response.

So he has taken another approach to try to get the champ’s attention. According to DC, this might pay off. He recently gave the reason why this might work and he spoke about it through his own experience with bones.

Daniel Cormier gives his verdict on Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall

The former UFC fighter reacted to the crazy comments of Jon Jones towards Aspinall in a new video. He also gave his verdict on why he knows that Aspinall might be getting Jon Jones next. ‘Bones’ had some scathing words for Aspinall recently in response to the latter’s comment on ‘Bones’ dodging fights. This snide comment did not go unnoticed by the supposed GOAT and he left some scathing comments in replies on Instagram.

This prompted DC to say on his YouTube channel, “Jon Jones when he gets mad, he starts to show His true self he wants to insult you And right now he is insulting Tom Aspinall by saying that he is blowing him every week.” He further stated that the fighter’s insults get nastier if he is affected by this night’s comments.

DC knows this first hand because he lived the reality when he had fought John Jones stating, “ I am telling you guys right now he  (Tom Aspinall) is starting to get to him. Starting to get to Jon Jones and when you get to him that’s when you possibly get the fight.” Jones said that people can believe in the ‘hype’ of Aspinall beating him but he is confident about his stance.

The duo has already been having a lot of quarrels on social media as well as saying different things for each other in interviews. The snide comments did not stop at this and continued to bring the PED allegations as well.

Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall continue their off-octagon fight

After the recent comment by Jones, Tom Aspinall again ripped into the undisputed champion and claimed that all his success was while he was on PEDs. A fan also echoed the same comment and ‘Bones’ came to retaliate. “Yep, worked my a– to prove my innocence. Now, picograms are legal in our sport,” Jon Jones tweeted.

He was also not happy with the criticism surrounding his drug** testing problem. ‘Bones’ took a slight jab at the fans who keep bringing up his mistakes. “Honestly, none of that will matter a few years from now when I’m covering my kid’s tuition. Are you guys still laughing about what happened at the office, I’m outside on a golf cart,” Jon Jones added. Even though he is supposedly going to fight Stipe Miocic, the fight with Tom Aspinall does not seem too far away.
