In a tragic turn of events, the renowned German bodybuilder and fitness influencer Jo Lindner, a.k.a ‘Joesthetics’ has passed away at the young age of 30 in Thailand, succumbing to an aneurysm. Jo’s girlfriend, Nicha, shared poignant photos of their time together on her Instagram, confirming the devastating news. With an astounding Instagram following of over 9 million and nearly 500 million views on his YouTube videos, Jo Lindner left an indelible mark on the fitness community. Nicha disclosed that Jo suffered from an aneurysm after experiencing neck pain earlier in the week, remaining by his side until his final moments.

An aneurysm, an abnormal swelling in the blood vessel’s wall, was the cause of Jo’s untimely demise. During an interview with fellow bodybuilder Bradley Martyn, Jo Lindner openly discussed his battle with rippling muscle disease, an uncommon genetic condition that renders muscles exceedingly sensitive to movement or pressure. And a clip from the same interview grabbed the attention of former UFC fighter Mike Perry, where the late fitness influencer can be seen talking about a bizarre thing happening to him.

This process, similar to kidney dialysis, replaces affected plasma with healthy plasma or substitutes. Plasmapheresis can have mild side effects like reduced blood pressure, but serious symptoms like blood clotting or allergic reactions can occur. ‘Joesthetics’ discussed changes in his bloodwork and observing ‘particles’ on a podcast. Although Jo mentioned undergoing plasmapheresis twice to remove particles, the specific substances were not disclosed.
