However, YouTuber True Geordie analyzed this banter between the sports entities. And he came to a conclusion about Helwani. Geordie insinuated that Helwani enjoyed his debates but picks his opponent wisely. Because Helwani would hurt his paycheck if he barked against the wrong tree. Is Helwani scared to expose the truth that ‘The Notorious’ wants to hide?

Ariel Helwani would never cause trouble for Conor McGregor

YouTube True Geordie threw some shade at UFC journalist Ariel Helwani for going easy on Conor McGregor. In a recent episode of the “PAIN GAME” podcast, the Britisher presented Helwani’s ways to his friend and fellow Youtuber, Wade Plem.

Geordie spoke about how Helwani is quick to debate UFC star Paddy Pimblett. But, fails to show the same enthusiasm when up against a higher-tier star, such as Conor McGregor. However, Paddy Pimblett’s open for a world of pain. Because he commented on Helwani’s potential YouTube earnings and managed to aggravate the UFC journalist.

Geordie said, “He hasn’t quite challenged. Let’s say Conor McGregor, in the same way.”

He then added, “When he sat in front of Conor McGregor, who has a whole host of things you could rip him to shreds on, Ariel has been very careful in those interviews.”

“And sometimes it’s not been great interviews because he’s been so careful and the reason he’s been so careful is because he doesn’t want to f**k up the money.”

So is it Geordie vs Helwani now?

Whether it is the financial trouble with his friend Artem Lobov or his ongoing troubles with USADA, McGregor has been involved in a fair share of controversies. But Helwani doesn’t pursue the Irishman quite as aggressively as he does with other UFC stars.

And Geordie claims to know the reason why. Because high-prized opponents like The Irishman might end up too costly for him.

The popular YouTuber revealed that Ariel Helwani could not afford to pick fights against the bigger men. And explained why he actively avoids any confrontation with Conor McGregor or Dana White.

And questioned Ariel Helwani’s ethics of being a journalist.
