However, news has been circulating and speculations have arisen as Nurmagomedov posted on Instagram stating a farewell to his team of fighters. Moreover, Javier Mendez, Nurmagomedov’s coach has also stated the same. Now, a UFC legend has given his strong opinion regarding ‘Eagle’s retirement from all forms of MMA.

Chael Sonnen gives his opinion on Khabib Nurmagomedov retiring

Chael Sonnen on his YouTube channel spoke about Nurmagomedov’s retirement. The UFC legend spoke, “If Khabib were to step aside, if he were to step aside from coaching or to leave the gym; there is a lot of work at the AKA of course with Javier Mendez and Daniel Cormier by example. If Khabib was to return home to Dagestan and just stay in that region with his family. Spend a little bit more time there. The reason this would be such big news is that in fact what Khabib said which is not my interpretation. Not yet at least.”
