UFC champion Israel Adesanya believes his life emulates a video game, and he meets some unexpected twists and turns, like a character in a video game. A recent incident transpired when he ran into his long-term combat sports rival, Alex Pereira, at an airport. What followed was a healthy exchange and a couple of humorous clips shared on social media by both fighters. However, ‘The Last Stylebender’ attributes the chanced encounter to God playing him as a character in The Sims, not fate.
The 33-year-old champion recently met ‘Poatan’ at the Los Angeles airport after both fighters toured Australia. This marked the first time both arch-rivals faced each other after concluding their rivalry at UFC 287. After missing each other in Australia, despite staying in the same hotel, apparently, God reunited the inseparable pair in a video game setting.

Further, he mentioned he had channelized the belief and assumed the controller of his life to play “this sh*t like a video game”.
The former kickboxer said, “Bro, my life is a video game man. People think I’m joking about that, but I feel Player One is a title that we can all learn to, you know, grasp, you know. And hold the controller of our own lives and learn how to play this sh*t like a video game.”
Furthermore, the Nigerian-Kiwi fighter revealed he customized his avatar in real life by how he walks, talks, holds himself, and dresses. He stated, “This is real-life Sims. So I do the same thing in life and I just try and just like play this like a video game.”
But ultimately, God pulled the strings as he set the flamboyant fighter up for an unlikely reunion with the Brazilian fighter.
Adesanya is a pawn to God playing The Sims
Adesanya announced, “By fate or by f**king just God playing The Sims, it’s like ‘let me put these guys in the same airport together. Let’s see what happens’.”
