Sean O’Malley is gold. The American fighter turned in a skillful performance at UFC 292 as he clinched the bantamweight strap after a TKO of Aljamain Sterling. Some might contest his claims, as he is currently the #5 ranked fighter with three consecutive losses added to his resume. O’Malley has his pick for the next fight
After he became the second Dana White Contender Series alumnus to become the champion, O’Malley specified his desire to fight Marlon Vera. ‘Chito’ is the fighter who handed him the first loss of his professional career. Therefore, the 28-year-old champion wants to avenge his loss.

He said, “I whoop Chito’s as* in December in Vegas at T-Mobile.” Meanwhile, Vera also fought under the same card and collected a sound win at UFC 292. However, it remains to be seen whether the UFC will cave into the champion’s demands, as a rematch with Sterling or a clash with Dvalishvili makes more sense.
