Rafael dos Anjos fancies his chances against Conor McGregor. Both of them certainly have a history, despite never facing each other in the Octagon. ‘The Notorious’ recently made an announcement to feature in the latest season of TUF. Since then, many former UFC champions came forward to coach against McGregor. Big names, such as Jorge Masvidal and Tony Ferguson were favorites to assume the role of the Dubliner’s antagonist in the reality show. However, Anjos has an interesting angle to bring to the table that none of the other champions have.

Dos Anjos supported a fan’s statement, who wished to see the former lightweight champion on the UFC-based reality show. The fan wrote “Make Conor fight RDA. Let RDA coach TUF. He has paid his dues to the sport and there is a storyline. Europe vs Brazil themed TUF. Then they fight each other at 170.”

The fan had an interesting theory to unite the two UFC superstars on the same stage. So good, even Anjos couldn’t resist sharing it with all his Brazilian followers. This tweet came from a common emotion among Brazilians to see McGregor bested. As, in a previous statement, McGregor boasted of having a perfect record against Brazilians. Therefore, Brazilians want their superstar to keep the Irishman’s pride in check on the TUF program.
