Khamzat ‘Borz’ Chimaev challenged the middleweight champion ‘Poatan’ on social media. After Alex Pereira’s astonishing win over Israel Adesanya, Chimaev unleashed his war cry. Furthermore, he claimed that it was ‘easy money and that he would finish the champ inside a round or less.

The Swedish middleweight fighter is fresh off a victory over Kevin Holland at UFC 279. Although he was supposed to fight Nate Diaz, Borz could not make the weight cut as he was 7.5 lbs over the limit. Perhaps Diaz was a tougher fight than Kevin Holland, but the beef between them was real, as seen during the canceled UFC 279 pre-fight press conference.

On ‘The MMA Hour’ show, Poatan disclosed that he wouldn’t mind facing the Swedish fighter in January. Pereira, alongside his coach Plinio Cruz, said how they offered the fight for 205 pounds at Rio. Moreover, they claimed that both the fighters were big and should not worry about the weight cut.

On the other hand, Chimaev ridiculed these claims from the Poatan’s camp. Allegedly, these claims were inaccurate, which led to Khamzat tweeting about it. He called the belt, Poatan’s coach Glover Teixeira and Poatan fake.
