Darren Till exposes the true nature of Dana White

Darren Till recently sat down with Ben Heath on his YouTube podcast. Ben asked Darren about his relationship with Dana White. Ben asked, “White, obviously someone you’ve spoken with and worked with quite a lot. What’s, uh, what’s he like?

Till replied, “He gets a lot of praise for his business skills, as you say. Do you know what? He gets a lot of praise and gets a lot of stick sometimes, at the time as well. I think the thing with Dan… I think you have to look at Dana as what he is. He’s not your friend. He’s got his own friends. He lives in Las Vegas, he gambles, he goes out to the club, he eats food with his friends who he grew up with.”

Later in the interview, Darren Till also emphasized that Dana White is a genuine person. He further justified his decision to leave the UFC, explaining that he strives to keep business separate from his personal life. That’s why he prioritizes spending time with his friends back home.

Darren Till counters Dana White’s privileges

A few years back, Dana White faced serious accusations of giving certain fighters privileges when it came to opportunities. Darren Till dismisses all these accusations, claiming that the promotion pushes fighters who bring in the numbers.

Following the controversy, the former welterweight tweeted, “Everyone upset about this so-called Dana white privilege. You either bring the numbers in or don’t. Guess what’s gonna happen when you do? The UFC gonna push you more. It’s business it’s not friendship. So keep crying all you little lick a** trolls and lick a** fighters. Bums the lot of yas. So am I so f**k it.”

This tweet also certainly grabbed the attention of UFC fans all over the world, who accused Darren Till of getting benefits from the White’s privileges as the reason why he came so far in the UFC. Some followers believe that a lack of social media engagement has prevented Belal Muhammad from receiving title opportunities.

Whether “white privilege” exists within the UFC is debatable. One thing’s for sure: Darren Till supports Dana White, likely viewing him as a friend. However, that loyalty might not be reciprocated. What’s your take on this situation?
