In a recent interview, ‘Durinho’ expressed his eagerness to get back in the octagon and show what he’s made of. He knows that opportunity is knocking, and he’s determined to be ready when it comes.

He said, “I think that rematch with Khamzat is going to happen. I think the fight with Belal Muhammad it’s going to happen.

I think those are the next opponents. Belal Muhammad comes out and then a title shot that’s what I see.” He further added.

To prepare for the January fight, Burns will be spending six days in Rio, taking a well-deserved rest before returning to training. He knows that he needs to put in the work if he wants to be ready for the challenge ahead.
