If juggling the roles of a UFC commentator, a stand-up comedian, and the world’s most famous podcast host wasn’t already impressive enough, Joe Rogan has added another feather to his cap: comedy club owner. The man knows no bounds!

After bidding farewell to the glitz and glamour of California, Rogan set his sights on the Lone Star State, Texas. Seeking the elusive freedom he yearned for, Rogan moved to Austin, Texas in 2021. Earlier this year, Rogan opened his own comedy club called ‘The Comedy Mothership’. The comedy club promises to be a safe haven for comedians, far from the clutches of ‘cancel culture’.

Since its inception, the Comedy Mothership has been riding a wave of success. Recently, Rogan appeared in a podcast interview with ‘Oil and Whiskey’. There, he talked about many topics, but the most interesting discussion was about his comedy club.

However, Rogan thinks this is a bad idea, and venturing into podcasting or standup comedy is a much better option. “We’ve always been attached to Hollywood. That’s the carrot they always dangle in front of you. it’s always like ‘Hey! if you play your cards all right you can wind up on TV’ and I’m like ‘F*ck TV’. I did it man, I’m telling you podcasts and stand-up comedies are way better.”
