While the American businessman addressed the post-UFC Vegas 70 dynamics, the persistent question of the rematch was pressed again. Listing the priority, he clarified Yair Rodriguez and Volkanovski‘s fight and assumes a higher arrangement. A similar case is with the Dagestani champion, who might face the winner of Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush. However, the winner might have to wait a little longer as the rematch might be slotted before their title shot.

The potential rematch scenario that hurts Beneil Dariush’s chances

Talking to reporters, White praised the newly crowned interim featherweight champion. Further, he specified, “So now you got Yair versus Volkanovski right. We’ll see what happens with Islam and where he ends up fighting next.”
