While some critically acclaimed war movies as must-watch, some get triggered by watching the destruction on screen, and UFC commentator Joe Rogan belongs to that group. The JRE podcast has been known to cover almost every topic that comes to mind. This is mainly because of the wide array of guests that UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan brings to his podcast. One such recent episode of the podcast exposed a more vulnerable side of Rogan that most aren’t really accustomed to.

Joe Rogan, along with his guest for the episode, Shane Gillis, talked about the gruesome truth about wars. However, what was more surprising was Rogan admitting his personal take on wars and even movies about war.

The two comedians in a recent episode of the podcast talked about how hard it must’ve been for people during the first world war, fighting with horrible gear. Rogan while looking at some pictures of the war stated, “Look at their little f**ing outfits. Imagine being stuck over there and going what the f** are we here for? That’s when they first started using gas. F*** man. What a horrific time.”

Rogan’s guest, Shane Gillis, asked Rogan if he watched the stunning yet horrific movie about World War I, ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, Rogan responded saying, “I get bummed out when I watch war movies. I always say I’m going to do it when I’m sitting in front of the TV. But when I’m sitting in front if the TV, most of the time I just like to be entertained.”

The color commentator later opened up about his struggles with anxiety if he thinks about wars, stating, “I get really depressed. Dude, I get anxiety sometimes in the middle of the night when everyone’s asleep. I get anxiety thinking about the wars.”

War is definitely not something that brings about joy to people. So Rogan’s reaction is completely valid. Especially with the war that’s ongoing in the Middle East.

Rogan shares his concerns for the Israel and Palestine Conflict

Just like most people in the world, Rogan shared his concerns about the Israel and Palestine conflict with fellow comedian Dave Smith. He talked about how the conflict has affected many innocent lives on both sides. Rogan claimed that he has been “freaking out” over the past nights as the 56-year-old fails to see how the two countries will resolve the war.

What freaked Rogan out more was the Armageddon that might follow up if other countries got involved. Especially with the number of countries having nuclear power now. Rogan claimed to experience sleepless nights, thinking about the imminent threat of a nuclear war just around the corner.
