Australian mixed martial artist, ‘Bam Bam‘ Tai Tuivasa, is about to face his career’s biggest challenge this weekend. Known as the master of the shoey, ‘Bam Bam’ is all set to stake his claim at the world title next.

However, the 28-year-old fighter first must face his career’s toughest match-up against ‘The Black Beast’ Derrick Lewis at UFC 271. The duo loves to throw down in the middle with no caution for safety. 

Joe Rogan doesn’t understand how Tai Tuivasa is able to drink beer out of another man’s shoe as a way to celebrate his win inside the octagon. The Australian native calls it shoey and has been routinely doing them ever since he made his debut.

A recent clip of veteran UFC commentator and former Fear Factor host, Joe Rogan, resurfaced that shed light on a rather funny interaction between the duo. Tuivasa requested him to share his shoe for him to complete his usual shoey back in 2018 at UFC 225, but Rogan outright rejected him.

” I am not lending you my shoe, you are gonna have to do that with somebody else bro. I gotta walk around that thing, I don’t know how you guys do that, that’s disgusting, he drinks beer out of shoes folks” – said Rogan.

Joe Rogan is definitely not a fan of shoey

He said,”  He does shoey’s, he pours beer into shoes and other people’s shoe, he’ll tell them to take their shoes off, then pours beer into their shoes and then drinks it. It is so disgusting, it is so foul, yeah, I don’t get it, but I get it, I don’t get it but I get it. He likes to party.”
