Mixed martial arts is one of the most exciting combat sports. Although it is very violent and fatal, each time an individual steps inside the Octagon, they put their lives on the line. You remain at risk of life-threatening injuries. Perhaps this is why it is so widely viewed and supported globally. Supreme discipline is required throughout life to excel in this sport. Starting from an early age, one must put themselves through tormenting training daily, for being efficient. Joe Rogan in his recent podcast, along with Steve-O, discussed such injuries, a few during Frank Mir’s fight.

The fighters need to maintain their fitness and physique to excel in the Octagon. One who looks after himself the most and is most disciplined often reaches the pinnacle. Although you achieve a god-like physique, you remain in danger of sustaining a viscous injury at a lapse of judgment. An example would be Kamaru Usman’s knockout loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 278.

Joe further added, “Now watch this right here. Snap! Argh! Frank is so big and so strong that your arm has no chance. In fact, he has broken 2 different world champion’s arms inside the Octagon.”
