“I Will Always Continue” – in First Public Appearance Since Bail, Cain Velasquez Says He Will “Fight” but in a Different Avenue

Former two-time UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez won his comeback fight in wrestling after his arrest. The Californian fighter now competes in ‘Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’. Velasquez got himself arrested when he allegedly chased Harry Goularte and shot him multiple times and he reportedly hit Goularte’s stepfather.
Moreover, the reason for the former UFC champion’s brash actions is deeply rooted in his family. Goularte was allegedly accused of molesting one of his family members. Now he stars for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a wrestling promotion, which also happens to be his alma mater.

Cain Velasquez has had a stellar UFC career. He has clinched the UFC heavyweight title twice in his career and he has given the audience memorable fights against Francis Ngannou and Brock Lesnar. In addition, he even had a brief stint in the WWE.

He said, “I will always continue to fight forever. To be here, in front of you guys, right now, it’s a dream come true. I truly appreciate it all, what you guys have always done, supporting me, my family.” The beloved fighter received a standing ovation during his speech.

Cain Velasquez had a stellar UFC career as well, where he had an 11-4 record. He retired after his loss to the current UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou back in 2019.

Cain Velasquez appeared in a three-on-three battle at the Mullet Arena. In addition, fans received him with a round of applause and cheered throughout the fight.

Furthermore, He made his debut for the same promotion back in 2019. His comeback fight included several acrobatic moves, which ended with him pinning the opponent for the win.
In addition, once the fight was complete, he went on to address the crowd. He removed his mask and said, “Never stop believing, never stop fighting.”
