What did Bisping say about Anthony Johnson cracking DC?

The former UFC champion started the conversation with disbelief about the unfortunate death of ‘Rumble’. Further, the Brit mentioned that he couldn’t still take the saddening news.

Following this, Bisping stated, “38 years old and when you see Anthony Johnson, in his prime, my God, what a force of nature. I mean, I’ll never forget when he cracked DC when they had that fight and DC went flying to the other side of the Octagon.”

The UFC Hall of Famer alluded to the first fight between the Blackzilians team representative and Daniel Cormier at UFC 187 in 2015 at MGM Grand Garden Arena. While the 23-6 record holder tapped in the third round of the fight, he made Cormier realize why he was called ‘Rumble’.

Later on, the podcast host added that Johnson was a formidable fighter. Also, Bisping pointed out that while ‘Rumble’ didn’t win the championship belt, he was one of the best and was never in a boring fight.

Lastly, the MMA fighter-turned-analyst expressed regret that he didn’t know the light heavyweight fighter too well. While both the noted fighters had a few conversations through Instagram DMs, the Brit couldn’t know him on a more intimate level.
