Sean O’Malley calls Conor McGregor the G.O.A.T.
The UFC fighter uploaded a video with a caption that explains the theme explicitly. Significantly, Sean O’Malley talked about the recent sparring videos of Conor McGregor.
He commented on the same, “He’s [Conor McGregor] never not looked sharp.” Following that, he came in defense of McGregor and stated that “he looked pretty good against Poirier until he broke his foot.”

Sean O’Malley recalled Conor McGregor’s career in UFC and specifically his bought against Dustin Poirier and called it “crazy“.

Subsequently, he said, “It just shows you. That’s why that motherf**ker is so big. Just his character at the beginning was so fun and entertaining. He’s the G.O.A.T.”
The 27-year-old further stated that it would be hard to declare the G.O.A.T. based on the skill set. But O’Malley is clear about his choice when it comes to the fighter who blew up the sport.

He asserted, “When it comes to who’s the G.O.A.T., who really blew up the sport, who took it to the next level, who was the most entertaining, who captivated the most people, Conor’s the G.O.A.T.”

He concluded the conversation by commenting that “there’s not even anyone that close.”

Sean O’Malley’s upcoming bout at UFC 280
Many fans were left scratching their heads when Sean O’Malley vs Petr Yan was announced as the main card fight for UFC 280. While Yan’s last 4 UFC fights have been championship fights, O’Malley might prove a tricky fight for him.
The Russian holds a professional record of 16-3. Actually, both of his UFC losses came against the current bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling. Fans will be hoping to see the ‘No Mercy’ complete the trilogy fight against Sterling.

Sean ‘Sugar’ O’Malley also holds an impressive record of 15-1. He is currently on a three-fight win streak and thus may threaten to become Yan’s biggest obstacle to claiming a championship fight.
