Alexander ‘The Great’ Volkanovski captured everyone’s attention with his defining win at UFC 266 over Brian Ortega. The City Kickboxing stand-out picked up a near clean sweep on the judges’ scorecards as he dismantled ‘T-City’ from start to finish. What’s more, the 25-minute war was full of exciting sequences and the entire MMA community was buzzing after the fight concluded.
However, former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo wasn’t too impressed with Volkanovski’s efforts under the bright lights.
After Volkanovski’s win, he took to Twitter and called out the former Rugby player saying it was now time for the UFC to make the fight between them. Cejudo has talked about coming out of retirement to contest for the featherweight belt for a meaningful period of time now.
