TJ Dillashaw believes Dominick Cruz is harder to prepare than Cory Sandhagen
Dillashaw doesn’t seem to have the same concern about Cory Sandhagen as he had for other top bantamweights. After analysis of his opponent, Dillashaw thinks Sandhagen is a very technical fighter and has a lot more purpose behind his every movement. But Dillashaw claims that’s it easier to prepare for a technical fighter as compared to an unconventional fighter like Dominick Cruz.

Dillashaw said, “Cruz is one of those fighters I would say that he is not as technically sound. But he is more well rounded. You know where Cruz took me down three times in the fights. I think they were like for a split second. But maybe I got overly aggressive and let him shot on me. Well, that’s not gonna be the case. So when you talk about game planning. I think Cruz is probably harder to game plan for because he’s gonna switch up his timing. He’s gonna switch up his levels, he might try to take me down.”

Dominick Cruz is considered as one of the toughest opponents to fight against. Dillashaw faced ‘The Dominator’ back in 2016 in a close quarter combat where ‘The Dominator’ prevailed over Dillashaw by the narrowest of the margins.
