Alexander Hernandez got back to winning ways with a win over Jim Miller at UFC Vegas 69. After three hard-fought rounds, Hernandez got the nod from all three judges for a unanimous decision victory. What’s more impressive, Hernandez took the fight on 10 days’ notice and put on an impressive performance.
Miller and Hernandez opened the main card for UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs Blanchfield. This was Miller’s 41st appearance under the UFC banner and 38th in the lightweight division- both unique records in the 39-year-old’s name. He came into the fight riding a three-fight win streak. Fans react to Miller vs. Hernandez at UFC Vegas 69
Miller had a strong start to the fight, trying to unload on Hernandez on more than one occasion. However, a low blow and an eye poke from the veteran briefly halted proceedings. Hernandez came back strong in the second round, imposing the pace of the fight and dictating the range in his favor.
Miller wasted no time going after Hernandez in the third. He started landing his patented leg kicks while Hernandez found his range and went toe-to-toe with “A 10.” Neither fighter showed any signs of backing down and engaged in a slugfest. In an eventful final minute, Miller took the fight to the ground with a leg sweep followed by a submission attempt. However, Hernandez escaped the trouble and finished the fight with his own ground and pound from the top.

I don't care how many fights Jim Miller wins or loses until then, they had better put him on the UFC 300 card.
It would be a travesty if he isn't.
