Looks like Conor McGregor is not the only UFC star that has dabbled into a fight promotion like BKFC. We all know Mike Perry owns Dirty Boxing and guess who co owns it? Its none other than UFC heavyweight king Jon Jones. Yes, there are no concrete words from him about his fight against Tom Aspinall, and yes, he has remained vague but he is feeding the fans new fight cards in DBX.
When fans asked him about the title unification bout via X, ‘Johnny Bones’ had only one thing to say. He declared: “Ya’ll barking up the wrong tree, I told the UFC my plans a long time ago. I have no clue why they haven’t shared them with you guys yet.” But he did hype up the Dirty Boxing 2 event that will have Jairzinho Rozenstruik in his first assignment since parting ways with UFC.
As per Fox40.com, Jones said, “Dirty Boxing Championship isn’t just a promotion, it’s a cultural shift.” He also reposted the official matchup poster from Dirty Boxing’s Instagram page. The official post had all the details about the event in the captions: “Dirty Boxing is back in Miami on June 14th! We’ve got a stacked card for DBX2—headlined by a heavyweight brawl between Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Devon Schwan, and co-main event Alex Caceres vs. SaidYokub Kakhramonov. Also, we have tons of other veterans from Phil Hawes, Francisco Trinaldo, Jessica-Rose Clark, and more!”

Mike Perry, the owner of Dirty Boxing, commented as well, saying, “ Big hitters,” while Jones said, “ This card is 🔥🔥🔥.” Former power lifter and MMA fighter John Davis reacted with, “ 👏👏🔥🔥.” However, despite all the hype from Jon Jones for DBX2, he is silent on his HW title unification bout against Aspinall. In fact, while attending ‘Dirty Boxing Championship 1’ weigh-ins, Jones hyped up the crowd into a delirium. He chanted “F— Tom Aspinall, f— Tom Aspinall,” as the Floridian crowd joined him. But the war of words has not transformed into a real battle inside the cage yet. As Dana White keeps assuring, Jones keeps deflecting, and Aspinall waits, will this fight ever see the light of day?
