UFC News: “Jon Is Getting Stripped” – Tom Aspinall Confirms UFC Manchester PPV Sparking Leaving Fans Frenzied

UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall just confirmed his fight in Manchester after being restless for a fight for some time. He was overlooked in the division despite winning UFC gold against Sergei Pavolovich in UFC 295. The tables have finally turned in his favor and he has a bout on his hands now. The fighter shared a video on his TikTok account to reveal that he will be fighting in Manchester, England, for UFC 304.

This news was all over X as well and the fans are in a frenzy because they have started guessing who his opponent is going to be. Most fans wanted it to be Jon Jones, while others took the name of Curtis Blaydes.

Aspinall declared in the announcement, All right, just back from Vegas was over there doing YouTube stuff means all that stuff. I don’t mean with the UFC. It has now been confirmed that I am fighting UFC Manchester so I’m back home preparing for that now.It’s in the early stages of training camp just waiting for my opponent to accept. So stay tuned. Keep up the socials. Keep up the YouTube channel and I’ll be announcing it very soon.”

The most common names sprouting up for the bout against him are Alex Pereira and Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall and Pereira already have some tension going on outside the octagon, so the likelihood of them fighting is not dim. However, the fans have started a debate on Aspinall fighting Jon Jones and defeating him. Meanwhile, according to Aspinall, Jones is not keen on fighting him.

The fans had a debate under the X post and chose Jones as the opponent, nonetheless.

Fans of UFC are eager to see Aspinall fight Jones

Aspinall and Jones had a run-in at the Arnold Sports Festival in Birmingham and the heavyweight fighter wanted to meet “Bones”. However, since meeting and facing off confirms a fight in the future in the UFC world, Jones refused to greet him. Fans commented on this and said that Aspinall deserves this fight with Jones.

Some fans gave out the names of Gane and said that  Dana White does not want him to fight Poatan. Jon Jones was out of the picture because he refused the bout.
