Jorge Masvidal on Colby Covington Messing Up His UFC Career: “Little B*tch Out There Is Trying to Hit Me Over the Head With…”

Jorge Masvidal got into heaps of trouble after his loss against Colby Covington at UFC 272. Moreover, Masvidal faced his 3rd consecutive loss at the hands of former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington. A few weeks after their fight, ‘Chaos’ was attacked outside of a restaurant in Miami.

As per reports, Masvidal launched 2 punches at Covington. In addition, the former welterweight interim champion allegedly lost a tooth in the altercation. The whole situation become quite messy when Covington pressed charges.

Gamebred‘ received 3 felony charges attending to which made him unable to compete inside the Octagon for quite a while. He has decided to remain outside and resolve these legal issues as of now.

Street Jesus‘ reveals that injury concerns and legal issues have kept him from Octagon’s return. Moreover, Gilbert Burns has been calling out Masvidal for months, even claiming that the latter turned down 3 offers to fight him.

In addition, Masvidal said, “I want to clear up this, I never told the UFC I could fight in November or December because I still have injuries. I said January maybe if I’m healed up by then, but guess what I’ve got the good news and the clearance.

Once friends now turned into foes, Masvidal also spoke about charges pressed on him by Covington. He said, “I’ve got numerous things going on, some little b**** out there is trying to hit me over the head with three felonies.”

Trash talk and verbal confrontation are part of the game. Although, when physical altercation and assault come into action, it doesn’t look good on the organization or the sport. It is still unclear when Masvidal will return to the Octagon. Until then, his potential opponent, Gilbert Burns, will be facing Neil Magny at UFC 283 in Brazil.
