Jorge Masvidal, the current BMF champion, has been making waves on social media. More so, recently with his declaration of the greatest MMA rivalry of all time. Masvidal has been inactive in the octagon since his alleged assault on Colby Covington earlier this year. Furthermore, he has been keeping busy with his court battles and training for his next potential opponent.

Masvidal chooses Wanderlei Silva and Charles Bennett‘s rivalry as the biggest. He said, “This is still the greatest beef in mma history!”
In 2005, Marcello choked out Bennett in a triangle, with Silva present. Bennett claims he later knocks Silva out, but the video seems to have been edited. Silva denied the incident.

Fast forward to the RIZIN event in Tokyo, Bennett and Silva ran into each other and the old incident came up. This led to Silva cornering Bennett‘s opponent, Minoru Kimura, who won in seven seconds. He even trash-talked about Wanderlei to the camera while the referee is explaining the instructions.
After the fight, Bennett did a backflip and tumbled across the ring, yelling at Silva and acting erratically. He even grabbed the microphone for a wild post-fight interview. It was a strange and unforgettable moment.

While Masvidal picks his rivals, he overlooks the epic showdowns between McGregor and Nurmagomedov, and Jones and Cormier. These are some of the biggest UFC names of all time, and their fierce rivalries took a bitter turn.

‘The Eagle’ says that beating McGregor at UFC 229 wasn’t enough. He wants to beat up his whole team. He adds that they’ll fight whenever they see each other, and the beef will never be over, as McGregor has continued to call him out.
Similarly, Jones and Cormier have a bitter relationship, with Cormier saying he’s ready to take Jones‘ head off and Jones responding that he should be willing to do the same.
