Max Holloway vs Justin Gaethje got over recently and Holloway came out as the champion of the BMF world. The 32-year-old went berserk with his punches at UFC 300 and now the title belongs to the “Blessed.” However, Holloway did not walk away unscathed because Gaethje has a reputation for annihilation with his strong striking game. Meanwhile, rumors are spreading in the UFC world that “The Highlight” is thinking of retirement.

Even though Max Holloway said that Gaethje packed in massive kicks which were “hard”, RJ Clifford thinks that Gaethje might retire. How did the fans react to this?

An Instagram page decided to share a post by RJ Clifford from his X profile, where he commented on the Gaethje vs Holloway fight. The dejected Clifford remarked, “Justin Gaethje may never fight again. This was the perfect way to go. It’s morbid, I know, but Scarface had to end with Al Pacino felled by a hail of gunfire. Gaethje’s movie had to end face down on the canvas, for the BMF title, after giving us every ounce of himself.”

This was accompanied by the picture of “The Highlight” laying face first onto the octagon mat and possibly unconscious. However, even when Holloway managed to win this fight, he did admit that Gaethje landed kicks on his body, the sounds of which could be heard throughout the T Mobile Arena. He also mentioned, “He hits hard don’t get me wrong.. . .but his kicks brother that guy kicks like a donkey or something. I don’t know what… Kangaroo coming off his tail. The guy kicks hard.”

“One more fight and I think he will retire, and what a fighter he has been brilliant.”

“Except in this case, he isn’t dead and will have an epic return.”
