Jon Jones might be returning to the UFC Octagon very soon. He took a three-year layoff before he returned opposite Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 in 2023. He succeeded in gaining the heavyweight title within minutes, and he also had a Stipe Miocic fight set for UFC 295. However, a shoulder injury prevented him from participating in the bout. ‘Bones’ might return now, but recently he did not give an update about his fight; rather, he revealed his favorite musician and rapper. Why is it so interesting? Well, the names he took are Drake and Kendrick Lamar, who have been having their versions of bouts for a while now.

The two hip-hop icons Kendrick Lamar and Drake are again on the minds of fans because there are new diss tracks in town. Each of them released these new tracks about each other. Lamar released his fourth diss track, Not Like Us, which is aimed at Drake. He accused Drake of grooming underage women on the track, and in Meet the Grahams, he again disses Drake. Drake did not sit back quietly and released Family Matters, where he called out Lamar.

Among all this, Jon Jones came onto Twitter to talk about his favorite rapper. He said, “I’m not deep into hip-hop like that. I’m more of a fan of Drake’s music; I find a lot of his stuff catchy. But I hear Kendrick is a better lyricist. Who are y’all rocking with?” He did not take sides, although he did mention who his favorite musician and lyricist were.

Lo and behold, Jones won the fight and became the winner with a massive guillotine choke at 2 minutes, and 4 seconds of the first round. So, Drake’s bet was worth it! Meanwhile, Jones recently gave an update about his return and said, “I have a date; I’ll let boss man Dana announce that.”
