While this isn’t the first time, he will be coaching in the reality show; having done it first against Urijah Faber.

However, rumors suggest that McGregor is playing favorites when it comes to picking fighters for his team. These rumors add to the already controversial image of the Irishman, who just can’t catch a break. Moreover, it also generates further questions regarding whether the fighters are being given equal opportunities within the promotion.

Kris Moutinho reveals being left out of TUF amidst Conor McGregor’s controversy

Kris Moutinho is one of the fighters who was in the mix to appear in the TUF. However, with a heavy heart in a recent unfortunate post, Moutinho revealed that he is not going to feature in TUF 31. Moreover, he does not even reveal the reason behind the snub.

In a recent Instagram post, Moutinho wrote, “thank everyone that has been congratulating me but I’m making this to say I’m not actually on the show. I spent the time out there believing I was going to be on the show. The day of filming, they told me I was an alternate. Things happen for a reason. I’m home, fight news should be coming soon.”

Moutinho was led to believe that he was going to be a part of the TUF. This would have been quite an exciting opportunity, as he would have had the chance of being with MMA champions. Despite the setback, Moutinho believes that everything happens for a reason and is taking a positive outlook on the situation. He has assured his fans that his fight news will be coming soon.
