The UFC is on the brink of becoming bigger than ever before. How? Their moves in the year 2023 already set the promotion on a path of tremendous growth. We are, of course, talking about the merger with WWE. The TKO Group Holdings venture did wonders for the numbers. Now, there’s more.

As we move into 2024, both companies are doing their best to combine resources. They’re trying to pool together teams and people to suit their goals best. The teams that bring in perhaps the most money are the ones responsible for sponsorship and so on. Here’s how the UFC and WWE will change it up for themselves now.

Global partnership teams rake in marketing and brand deals. The more brands stand behind the promotion, the stronger it can get with the money that comes in. To get even more out of these teams, the WWE and the UFC have combined their resources to form one singular faction.

The person responsible for spearheading the UFC’s team will serve in a vital position within the new team. “UFC has seen monster growth in sponsorships over the past few years. Grant Norris-Jones, who led the UFC’s team will now serve as the executive vice president over both UFC and WWE global partnerships,” reported Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.

Clearly, things are afoot with the UFC. On a similarly interesting note, Dana White only recently posted an Instagram story telling fans how he has a bunch of brand-new ideas that he’d like to work on. The UFC head honcho has been on vacation for some time, but when he returns home, he wants to “destroy” January and 2024 with his progress.

Always a man who looks forward, Dana White is rocketing the UFC ever-onward. And now, moving into 2024, an interesting TV deal was predicted by a Wall Street insider. The UFC’s last TV deal was valuated at $.15 billion. What could it be next?

The next UFC TV deal could be a massive one

A Wall Street expert named Eric Handler from Roth MKM predicted great success for sports entertainment and streaming services that offer a platform to this sector. Moreover, he also detailed his belief in the UFC getting a brand new TV deal worth double its last one. That’s right, a $3 billion deal may be awaiting Dana White.

Right now, the UFC’s exclusive content goes up on ESPN and it’s done wonders for ESPN+. However, the deal is set to end next year, in 2025, unless it’s renewed again. ESPN also has the rights to all of the UFC’s pay-per-view broadcasts. A big vehicle for the UFC’s finances, even this deal could see growth in the coming years.
