His fiancee Dee Devlin was absent at the event and The MMA Fighter knows the reason behind it. He told ESPN: “I’ve not brought my family with me this time, it’s hard to juggle, it’s hard to go face-to-face and want to tear through a man — and then hold your son and your daughter and want to give them a bottle and feed them and this kind of thing.”

The Dubliner spoke about the difficulties of the profession he chose in life. He doesn’t want to switch off from the main event or get distracted by his role as a family man.

He added, “Even on rest days, when I would have rest day around my family, it wouldn’t really be a rest day; you’re playing with the kids, you’re busy. My rest days this time have been true rest days, so then when I go again for my next round of work I’m refreshed.”

The Fighter prioritizes his family time over everything. He enjoys whatever time he gets to spend with his wonderful kids, Conor jr, Croia and Rian.
