According to Rogan, “They’re eating everything they can find and they have no natural enemies there. There was a recent study that claimed the raccoon population there is down by 99%, and they couldn’t locate any marsh rabbits or bobcats. These motherfuckers are so capable that they’ve taken to eating alligators.” The proliferation of pythons in the Everglades is a direct result of people releasing their exotic pets into the wild. A few dopey individuals bought these exotic pets as trendy accessories, only for them to become a big problem a few decades later.

Rogan is clearly concerned about the impact of invasive species on the ecosystem, and he is not afraid to speak his mind about the matter. He states how the entire Everglades swamp is now a “big monster soup” with 20-foot-long pythons taking out alligators. This highlights the importance of understanding the consequences of our actions and the need for responsible pet ownership. Joe Rogan’s passion for nature and animals is contagious, and his followers are sure to be inspired by his insights and opinion.
