Mr. Thanos Josh Brolin, Who Wished to Be “In the Center” of Will Smith Oscars Drama, Was Left “Starstruck” by Conor McGregor After UFC Shock

The Oscars fiasco between Will Smith and Chris Rock has cemented itself in Hollywood’s history. With everyone being left in shock and second-hand embarrassment, it turns out that actor Josh Brolin, famous for playing Thanos in the Marvel movies, wanted to be in the epicenter of the Oscars drama. Despite being one of the most famous people on the planet, he was also star-struck by Conor McGregor and his charisma. 

In a talk with ‘IT’S TIME with Bruce Buffer’, Brolin chronicled how he was absolutely amazed by McGregor after his loss during UFC 196. Talking about the various fighters he was impressed by and spotting McGregor’s Rolls Royce around a corner, Brolin stated,

I looked across the street, and there was a Rolls Royce there. And some people were taking a picture and all that. I was like, ‘Rolls Royce, who cares, you know? It’s Los Angeles. There’s a bunch of Rolls Royces in Los Angeles.’ I couldn’t even put two and two together.

He continued, “And that Rolls Royce went around the block, and I looked, and I saw, I was like ‘No way!’ I literally have never been so starstruck in my life. McGregor was obviously driving his Rolls Royce.

Gushing over McGregor, Brolin further added, “Now that guy, in the way that he dealt with his defeat in 196, I had so much respect for. He was immediately responsible. He took full responsibility for that defeat. And I love that in a champion, truly love it.”

The Irishman always intends to give his fans the highest form of entertainment. Most fighters keep the entertainment to the octagon alone. Conor McGregor, however, proved to be one of the greats in the sport, given how he begins his entertaining skills long before the fight even happens.
