Earlier this month, former UFC lightweight title challenger Diego Sanchez had contracted Covid-19 and was under treatment for the same. Recently, Sanchez gave horrifying updates from his ongoing battle with coronavirus.
‘The Nightmare’ has had an impressive career in the UFC. However, he has now parted ways with the promotion. During his time in the promotion, the 39-year-old fought many great battles against notable names in the UFC. However, Sanchez is currently fighting the biggest battle of his life with Covid-19.
Sanchez is frequently updating the fans about his situation on his official Twitter account. Recently, he posted a picture of him in the hospital bed and wrote in the caption, “Pneumonia Covid never give up”

Previously, ‘The Nightmare’ had posted a Tweet where he slammed the former interim welterweight champion, Colby Covington, for his remarks

In his Tweet, Sanchez wrote, “Shi**ing, coughing, pukin, constant hot cold fevers, pain in every joint, migraines, 5 days no sleep and constantly short of breath. My boy @luisbaboon warned me I had no idea it was this evil!!! @ColbyCovMMA was talking that sh*t saying it’s just a common cold.”
