UFC CEO Dana White might be a brave soul when it comes to managing a huge promotions like the UFC and Power Slap, but he is not so brave when he has to make people laugh. He recently appeared at Netflix’s Tom Brady roast to partake in a gala time. However, the 54-year-old shared a different backstory. White might have aced the jokes on the podium, but the CEO recently revealed his internal struggle to comedian Andrew Schulz.

White had studied all his jokes and remembered everything to the brink lest something went wrong. It did go wrong even after all the efforts! Why? It was because of Nikki Glaser, a famous comedian, and White told the tale in the Flagrant podcast. Let’s see why the UFC head honcho was having a nervous breakdown before going to the roast.

In the Flagrant podcast, White revealed that he had a budding respect for comedians after sharing details of his experience at the Tom Brady roast. The roast featured the retired NFL star who faced an array of jokes by some of the most famous stand-up comedians and celebrities in a live show. Dana White was one of those celebrities who roasted him, and since he was a Patriots fan, he agreed. However, he did not have a gala time behind the scenes while preparing for the roast.

The CEO declared that comedy was the hardest thing to do and even harder than his first love, gambling. He is a man who has been in many businesses but fears the stand-up comedy scene. He said, “You know how much I love gambling. One time I had a million-dollar hand out there between splits and everything else and you know the amount of it. There’s nothing that doesn’t even compare to doing standup fu** comedy man. Fu** that shit I have done it twice. Remember I said it here, you will never see me do any of that shit ever again.”

He also explained how Nikki Glaser hadstolenhis joke and she was going up before him! Schulz was laughing when the UFC head honcho described this fiasco and said, “Yeah what happened was you and I were DM-ing, we were DM-ing and you were going fu** ghost on the DM for a minute and I was like oh fu**. Well, Nikki Glaser stole my fu** joke.”

The host of Flagrant and a fellow comedian corrected him saying that the joke was coincidentally the same! Even if there was no stealing involved, White was still nervous before presenting his jokes in front of not only Brady but a 12,000 live audience and other comedians! He even took help from Joe Rogan, who asked Schulz to help him out.

White promises to appear on the JRE podcast amid quitting comedy

Joe Rogan and White have known each other for over two decades, but the CEO never went to Rogan’s podcast. JRE is one of the most famous shows and Rogan recently renewed the contract worth $250 million with Spotify for this show. People are eager to see Dana White in the show as a guest and White just gave an update about that.

White is very brave when it comes to new challenges and even took part in comedy, which he is afraid of. He took help from legendary comedian Bill Burr to write his roast for Tom Brady, but this was probably his last comedy stint. Now he might appear in the JRE podcast instead.
